Discover Jesus

You did not arrive here by accident.

Deep inside, you have been searching. Searching for hope. Searching for peace. Searching for meaning. Maybe you have asked questions like:

Why am I here?

What is the purpose of life?

Is there anything more than this?

Does God really care about me?

The answer to all those questions begins with one powerful truth:

God loves you.

The Bible says:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16 (ESV)

God’s love is neither distant nor cold, nor is it conditional. His love is personal. He created you intentionally and desires a real relationship with you.

God Created You for Relationship

At the very beginning, God created mankind out of love. He created man and woman to walk with Him, know Him, and experience His goodness.

“So God created man in his own image…” - Genesis 1:27

God never wanted robots forced to obey Him. He wanted people who would freely choose to love and trust Him. Because of that, humanity was given a choice.

Sadly, humanity chose sin over God.

What Is Sin?

Sin is more than simply doing wrong things. It is living apart from God’s will and choosing ourselves over Him. It is falling short of the perfect standard of holiness and love.

The Bible says:

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” - Romans 3:23

Every person has sinned. Every person has failed. No one is perfect.

Sin affects our hearts, our relationships, our minds, and our world. Most importantly, sin separates us from God.

“Your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God.” - Isaiah 59:2

That separation leaves humanity spiritually empty, broken, and disconnected from the life God intended for us.

Why Salvation Matters

Many people try to reach God through good works, religion, morality, success, or self-improvement. Yet no amount of effort can erase sin or repair the separation between humanity and God.

The Bible teaches that salvation is not something we earn; it is a gift from God because He loves us.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans 6:23

Sin brings spiritual death, but God did not leave us hopeless. He made a way to restore us to Himself.

That way is Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ: God’s Bridge to Humanity

Because humanity could not reach God on its own, God came to us.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to earth as fully God and fully man. He lived a perfect, sinless life and willingly died on the Cross for our sins.

“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8

Why did Jesus have to die?

Because sin carries a penalty, justice requires payment. Jesus took our place so we could be forgiven and restored.

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree…” - 1 Peter 2:24

Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, defeating sin, death, and the grave forever.

“He is not here, for he has risen, as he said.” - Matthew 28:6

Through Jesus, the separation between God and humanity was forever bridged.

Jesus said:

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” - John 14:6

Salvation is not about religion. It is about a relationship.

It is about being forgiven, restored, made new, and brought back into fellowship with the God who created you and loves you deeply.

God Wants a Relationship With You

Perhaps you have never given your life to Jesus.

Or maybe you once walked closely with God, but drifted away.

No matter where you are today, God has never stopped loving you.

His mercy is greater than your mistakes are.

His grace is stronger than your past.

His love for you has never changed.

“The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.” - Psalm 103:8

You do not need to clean yourself up before coming to God. You simply come as you are.

The Bible says:

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” - Romans 10:13

And:

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” - 1 John 1:9

God invites you into a real relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.

How Do You Receive Salvation?

Salvation begins with faith in Jesus Christ.

Believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

Believe that He died for your sins and that He rose again.

Turn your heart toward Him.

Receive His forgiveness and grace.

The Bible says:

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” - Romans 10:9

Jesus is ready to forgive you, restore you, and grant you new life.

A Prayer to Begin Your Relationship with Jesus

If you are ready to give your life to Jesus, pray this sincerely from your heart:

Dear Jesus,

I know I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness. Thank You for dying on the Cross for my sins and for rising again.

I believe You are the Son of God.

I confess that You are the Lord.

Please forgive me for my sins.

Wash my heart clean and make me new.

Come into my life and fill me with Your Holy Spirit.

Teach me to follow, trust, and live for You.

Thank You for loving me, saving me, and giving me eternal life.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
